Women’s retreat
Comments (1)Earlier this month, I was so blessed to attend our church’s women’s retreat along with many dear sisters in Christ. Here I am on a girls-dinner-out (at a steakhouse, believe it or not!) with Jenny, Claire, Ronna and Shannon.
Spring 09 Interns
Last weekend, we hosted the current class of pastoral interns from our church for dinner. They brought along their families, and we all enjoyed a great time of fellowship in Christ.
Christmas 2008
We celebrated Christmas day with our friends Brian, Brooke, Ellie, Brandon and Kimberlee. We recounted God’s kindnesses to us this past year through the preaching, teaching and relationships He’s given us at Capitol Hill Baptist Church. We prayed for Brandon and Kim as they anticipated the arrival of their twin boys, Jack and Cullen, who came into the world last week!
CCEF small group
This spring, I joined a small group at our church studying through material from the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF) that trains Christians to counsel each other biblically. I was so blessed to learn alongside these wonderful sisters in Christ!
